The Arkansas Aeros had an excellent regular season. The Arkansas RiverCatz merged with the Aeros in late January. The team spent several weeks in the top two of the league power rankings, but somehow fell to fifth place in the final rankings. The team then withdrew from the playoffs and the league following a scheduling dispute.
